Hardywood Park Craft Brewery presents Reserve Society Batch 004, an Imperial Milk Stout aged in apple brandy barrels with vanilla beans. Weighing in at 14.6% ABV, this limited edition stout was aged for five years in Laird’s Apple Brandy barrels, imparting deep flavors of candied apple, sweet chocolate, and rich apple brandy. It’s described as thick, silky, and smooth, with a warming, lingering finish. Further complexity is achieved through the addition of whole Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans, adding notes of creaminess and dessert-like decadence.

This beer is built upon Hardywood’s existing “Misfit Series” and is notably a tribute to their Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Stout, “Trickery.” The label features a striking, minimalist design; a stylized blue apple sits above bold, gold lettering declaring “HARDYWOOD RESERVE SOCIETY BATCH 004” with descriptions of the stout below.
