Named for the element gold—which holds significance to both the region’s Gold Rush history and the couple’s own marriage in 1979—the winery specializes in handcrafted, vineyard-driven wines. With consulting winemaker Scott Johnson guiding the vintages, Les and Sharon produce a high-quality portfolio featuring varieties like Syrah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, and Viognier.
